Litho
Printing.
Litho printing short for lithographic or offset printing is a traditional, high-end printing method that uses printing plates and rubber blankets to transfer ink onto paper.
This technique is widely recognized for its ability to produce sharp, clean images and uniform color coverage, making it the preferred choice for premium materials such as brochures, magazines, packaging, catalogues, and corporate stationery.
With our state-of-the-art litho presses and expert team, Process Litho delivers results that balance craftsmanship with efficiency.

Pre-Press Stage

Post-Press Stage

Design & Layout
Artwork is prepared using professional design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign or Illustrator).
Files are checked for resolution, bleed, color format (usually CMYK), and alignment.
Proofing
A digital or hardcopy proof is created for client approval.
Final corrections are made before production.
Plate Making
The approved design is transferred onto aluminum printing plates (one for each color in the CMYK process – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black).
Plates are created using Computer-to-Plate (CTP) technology.
Mounting Plates
Each plate is mounted onto its corresponding printing unit on the offset press.
Inking
Ink is applied to the plate. It sticks only to the image area (oil-based ink repels water).
Dampening
Non-image areas of the plate are kept wet with water (or dampening solution), which repels ink.
Offset Transfer
The image is transferred from the plate to a rubber blanket cylinder.
Then the image is offset from the blanket onto the paper.
Printing
Paper passes through the press, receiving ink from all four CMYK color units.
High-speed presses can print thousands of sheets per hour.
Drying
Sheets are dried (air-dried or heat-set depending on ink type and paper).
